Cartwheels is a full-service gymnastics and cheerleading training facility. We offer cheerleading stunt clinics, jump clinics, and tumbling clinics, as well as, tumbling classes and private lessons. The gym recently expanded in the summer of 2007; adding a new practice floor, trampoline, and other equipment for our All-Star teams. Velocity All-Stars is a competitive cheerleading program for all ages with teams for each level of experience. We train throughout the competition season at Cartwheels, Etc. in Milford, CT.
Velocity All-Star Minis -
The Velocity All-Star Cheerleading Mini Team will begin practices September 9, 2009. Practices will be held Wednesday 5:00pm-6:15pm and Friday 5:45pm-7:15pm, with a tuition cost of $85 per month. The Minis team is for ages 5-8, with the participant’s age as of August 31, 2009 being the qualifying age. Practice time will be dedicated to working on tumbling, stunting, cheer, dance, jumps, and increasing strength and flexibility. In addition to learning cheerleading skills, the cheerleaders will also learn teamwork and gain valuable confidence and self-esteem. Competitions will begin in March and end in May. The season will end in June, after a performance at the Cartwheels, Etc. end-of-season exhibition. There will be costs above and beyond the monthly tuition including uniform, music, and choreography costs and competition fees. Coaches will make every effort to keep the costs as low as possible and the team will run fundraisers to off-set the cost of these items as well. Velocity All-Star Juniors -
Ages 10-14. Practices are Mondays from 5:00pm-8:00pm which will include an hour of tumbling and Thursdays from 7:00pm-9:00pm.
